We promote sustainability in the Dolomites through responsible initiatives

We take several actions to make our contribution to safeguarding the UNESCO natural heritage of the Dolomites. Some of these actions are:

• Use of local products: the hotel tries to use 0 km products, produced by local producers and farmers, such as milk, cheese and meat, for the dishes served to customers. This reduces the environmental impact from transporting the products and also ensures high quality.
• Organic products: the facility tries to use organic products for food preparation, thus reducing the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
• Renewable energy sources: the facility uses 100 percent energy from renewable sources, such as hydropower, thus reducing the emission of greenhouse gases and the use of non-renewable energy sources.
• Plastic reduction: the facility seeks to reduce plastic use, such as by replacing plastic bottles with glass bottles and promoting the use of reusable water bottles. In addition, environmentally friendly cleaning products are used, thus reducing the environmental impact of chemicals.
• Energy recovery: the ventilation system in the wellness area, kitchen and laundry room involves the use of sophisticated machinery aimed at heat recovery.
• Electric cars: 2 charging stations for electric/hybrid cars are located in our garage.
• Paper use reduction: we try to reduce paper printing through our internal Guestnet information system
• Sustainable waste management: the facility promotes and encourages separate waste collection. In addition, the facility tries to reduce the amount of waste produced, such as avoiding single-serving products as much as possible and preferring recyclable packaging material.

In general, our Family Hotel takes a number of sustainable actions that aim to reduce the environmental impact of its activities and promote a more sustainable lifestyle.
